I am so excited to commence this academic year (2022-23) with a lot of new things on our plate, one of which is our blog: 'PEACE EXPRESS'. We hope this SOMC Blog will provide you an opportunity to  showcase your talent for the written word. 

You may be wondering why the name 'PEACE EXPRESS'? 

Let me explain... 'Peace' because we are part of a unique 'World Peace University' that strongly believes in creating and building young professionals for whom spiritual growth is as important as career development. In our past National Conferences on Media & Journalism the aspect of JOURNALISM FOR PEACE has been clearly spelt out and for which we have received great appreciation from many leaders of the industry. The word 'Express' denotes urgency and contemporaneity that is part of any publication that seeks to INFORM, ELUCIDATE or EDUCATE the larger public; think 'Indian Express' or 'Daily Express'.

As this journey of the written word (and amazing pictures) unfolds we hope 'PEACE EXPRESS' will become the go-to place for readers and subscribers who are looking for writing that is engaging, purposeful and enables dialogue and understanding, especially in this time of hate-speech, fake news and opinionated disagreements.
